A Study On The Concept Of Sports In Chinese Social Thought In The Early 20th Centur

“Moving from a sporting power to a leading sporting nation is a new positioning and new mission entrusted to China’s sports industry in the new era.” The “14th Five Year Plan” and the 2035 long-term goal outline clearly propose to build a “leading sporting nation” by 2035,and sports has become a landmark of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore,placing sports in the turbulent social transformation of modern China and in the constantly changing social trends of thought,exploring its development process,seeking the basic laws and general trends of its development,providing reference significance for the development of China’s sports industry in the new era,guiding China to become a leading sporting nation,and increasing the value of sport to society and the people.The formation and development of sports thoughts is not only the embodiment and precipitation of individual experience,but also the mirror image and sublimation of social and historical development.It is a unique cultural process in itself.Various sports conceptions are produced by various historical contexts and conditions,which results in various goals and development tendencies.A survey of the literature reviews some flaws in the exiting studies.This article hopes to expand the boundaries of previous research and enrich corresponding theoretical results.Therefore,the research adopts the methods of literature review,text analysis,and social and historical analysis to study the Chinese sports thoughts under the social trend of thought in the early 20 th century in China,and combs the formation and changes of the main sports thoughts in China during that period.The research finds that various sports thoughts were generated in China due to various factors in the early 20 th century,which is an important time node for the development of Chinese sports thoughts,The development and changes of sports thoughts during this period are also an indispensable part of Chinese sports history and even the entire Chinese history.Specifically,the Chinese sports thoughts at that time was mainly manifested in the military national sports thought,naturalistic sports thought,quintessence sports thought,and new democratic sports thought,which continuously optimized and realized the localization development of China in the development process.The concept of sports in modern Chinese society has had a tremendous impact on the development of sports practice in modern Chinese society,mainly reflected in the transformation of sports thoughts,the establishment of sports organizations,the development of sports events,and the improvement of sports laws and regulations.These influences laid the foundation for the development of sports theory,sports system,sports education,and sports spirit in future generations.Based on this,it can be concluded that the sports thoughts in social trends such as naturalism trends and Marxist trends have certain practical significance for the development of China’s sports industry at this stage,mainly reflected in the construction of a healthy China,the healthy development of young people,the construction of competitive sports,and the prosperity of sports culture.Grasping the sports thoughts in social trends in the early 20 th century is conducive to enriching the historical research of China’s sports thoughts,expanding the theoretical perspective of sports thoughts and providing reference significance for the development of China’s sports industry in the new era.
