Since the spread of the pre-Qin Dynasty,the mythology of Emperor Yan has formed narrative traditions such as language narration,ritual narration,image landscape narration,etc.,which have important ethical value and inheritance value.In the contemporary development,the multi-dimensional narrative of Yandi Shennong mythology has shown a state of one after another,facing the dilemma of the lack of narrative and the dilemma of diminishing the sanctity of mythology.This paper takes Yandi Shennong mythology as the research object,mythology theory,narrative theory and semiotic theory as the theoretical foundation and logical starting point,adopts literature method and field investigation method,combined with the specific language narrative,ritual narrative and image landscape narrative of Yandi Shennong mythology in the development process to analyse Yandi Shennong mythology.Victoria’s narrative tradition.On this basis,this paper puts forward three paths for the contemporary development of the multi-dimensional narrative of Yandi Shennong mythology.The full text consists of five parts:The introduction explains the reason for choosing the topic of this article,and points out that the multi-dimensional narrative tradition of Yandi Shennong myth has a long history and still has the value of continuous development in contemporary times.This paper reviews its research in recent years,defines the relevant concepts discussed in this article,and summarises the mythological theory,narrative theory and semiotic theory that provide theoretical guidance for this article.At the same time,the research methods in this paper are also explained.The first chapter sorts out the historical evolution and evolution of the language narrative of the Yan Emperor Shennong’s mythology,and points out that the Yan Emperor Shennong’s mythological language narrative tradition can be traced back to the Western Zhou Dynasty.Further tracing to the source shows that the myth of Emperor Yan Shennong originated in the transition period from hunting civilization to farming civilization.During this period,the people drank blood and fur,and their productivity was very low.Emperor Yan Shennong led the people in slash-and-burn cultivation and gradually entered the era of agricultural economy.In the process of development over time,the myth of Emperor Yan Shennong has undergone the evolution of the historicalization,integration of myths,and legends of myths,making Emperor Yan Shennong actually become an "arrow-stacked" cultural hero,who has various achievements related to farming civilization.They were all accepted by Emperor Yan Shennong,which created the rich and colorful narrative content of Emperor Yan Shennong’s mythology.The content of Yandi Shennong’s mythology is divided into four categories according to the characteristics of Yandi Shennong’s godhead,and it is pointed out that Yandi Shennong mainly has the identities of fire god,agriculture god,medicine god and ancestor god.The second chapter summarises the divinity system of Emperor Yan Shennong in the ritual narrative,and sorts out the linear development process of Yan Emperor Shennong’s sacrificial ceremony.It is pointed out that the mythical and narrative tradition of Emperor Yan Shennong has continued since Zhou and Qin,or there are trade-offs according to time and place.In the sacrificial ceremony,the rich divine personality of Emperor Yan and Shennong is a reflection of the collective consciousness of the people.It expresses people’s reverence for the emperor of heaven,gods and cultural heroes.It reflects people’s lofty yearning for ideal leaders,hero models and social elites.It also conveys the respect for cultural heroes such as the Chinese nation’s cautious pursuit of the distance and drinking water thinking about the source.The psychology of remuneration and a strong sense of identity with the nation-state.The ceremony allows people to analyses the current situation of the contemporary development of the multi-dimensional narrative of Yandi Shennong mythology,and points out that under the appeal of modernity,there is a lack of dilemma in the contemporary development of the multi-dimensional narrative of Yandi Shennong mythology.It is proposed to construct a new inheritance field of mythology,build a platform for the activation of mythological resources,and the application of digital resources for narrative communication are the current multi-dimensional narrative of Yandi Shennong mythology for reference.It also analyses the value of the contemporary development of the multi-dimensional narrative of Emperor Yan’s Shennong mythology:first,it enriches the inheritance channel of Yandi Shennong mythology and inherits traditional Chinese culture;second,it builds social order and condenses social identity;third,it continues the memory of the Chinese nation’s community of "the common ancestors of China",and forge the cultural foundation of the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community.These values stipulate the necessity of the multidimensional narrative of Yandi Shennong mythology in contemporary development.In a word,Yandi Shennong mythology has a long multi-dimensional narrative tradition,which can be combined with festivals,tourism,new media and other resources in modern times to realise
