Desdemona In The Opera Othello Study On The Artistic Characteristics And Singing Of The Aria "Song Of Willows"

Othello is the last opera seria created by Verdi in his later years,and Song of the Willows is selected from the fourth act,which is also the most representative work in his tragic image portrayal.This article is mainly divided into four parts for discussion.Firstly,it analyzes the background of the author and the work;Secondly,a detailed analysis will be conducted on the musical form,language,and character portrayal of the work "Song of the Willows";Once again,analyze the singing of ’Song of the Willows’ and provide some suggestions for some of its singing techniques;Finally,a thorough analysis of the tragic image of "Desdemona" is conducted through the overall exploration of the aria,and a detailed sorting and exploration of the portrayal and deepening of tragic female characters are conducted.
