Metaphors Of Conception

Starting from the concrete expression of metaphor,this paper analyzes the background and causes of the emergence of Vanitas in the Netherlands in the 17th century,as well as the process of the symbolization of specific images from the concept to the expression technique,and discusses the context,way and far-reaching influence of the metaphor mechanism in figurative painting.This paper discusses how figurative painting carries metaphor and evolves into an attribute of Western visual culture.Then through the case analysis of modern and contemporary art,from the concrete expression of metaphor,it leads to the concrete presentation of concept in modern and contemporary visual art.On the basis of the above research,the author combines his understanding of the relationship between consumption culture and individual desire to form his own creative ideas.By creating contradictions between appetite and "edibility" aroused by the form of food,the author excavates the multiple images of food and completes the construction of image metaphor and the concrete expression of ideas,so as to think about the nature of desire and subjectivity.
