Music is based on poetry,and poetry is based on sound.Throughout the thousands of years of Chinese history,literature and music have diverged and merged in a complex and ever-changing relationship.In the history of Chinese poetry,there have been many poets and lyricists who were proficient in music and rhythm,and they have left valuable treasures for Chinese music literature,among which the self-doing songs of Jiang Kui,a musician and literary scholar of the Song Dynasty,occupy an important place.Jiang Kui’s self-titled songs are recorded in the "Songs of Baishi Daoist" with side scores,which are written down according to ancient musical notation and deciphered by modern musicians,and can still be sung today.There is no more misunderstood text in the world than a musical score,and all translations of ancient scores are a new composition.In 1957,Yang Yinliu and Yin Falu co-authored "A Study of Song Songs Composed by Jiang Baishi",which mainly studied the cultural,phonetic,vocal and rhythmic aspects of Jiang Baishi’s 17 songs.In this paper,we will use Yang Yinliu’s and Yin Falu’s translations to explain them from the perspective of combining literature and music.This paper selects Jiang Kui’s self-doing songs "Dark Fragrance" and "Sparse Shadow" as the object of study,and carries out research in terms of composition background,musical style,and singing analysis through literature analysis,action research method,and other research methods,aiming to explore the artistic characteristics of Jiang Kui’s self-doing songs and their singing innovation,and provide reference for vocal learners. |
