Painting Styles In The Context Of Contemporary Image

The present era is a context of visual imagery,and creating art,we are inevitably influenced by images.Painting has become a carrier for the utilization and recreation of image information resources,and the association between contemporary images and painting has led to the development of painting in depth and dimension,making it richer and more reflective of the times.This paper selects the most representative contemporary artists who combine image media with painting as the research case,explores the different visual and linguistic expressions adopted by excellent artists in using modern images,and studies the influence of contemporary image media on painting.During my graduate studies,I systematically sorted and studied these outstanding artists’ cases,and drew inspiration from them in my graduation project series "Encounter Time".In addition to theoretical learning,daily life scenes and a large amount of reading are also sources of my creative inspiration.When creating the "Encounter Time" series,I did not simply explore the associative patterns between contemporary images and painting from a theoretical perspective but rather organically combined the two through visual language and daily life experience.
