Time perception is an important basic cognitive ability, which is an important guarantee for people to maintain a stable and healthy state of mind and body and carry out efficient internal and external interaction. This thesis takes time perception as the research object, explores the neural response characteristics of time perception process, and explores the effective regulation scheme of time perception ability. In the first part of this thesis,we design a self-initiating millisecond time generation task, which effectively induces the endogenous time perception process. The behavior and EEG data during the task were analyzed and discussed, and the conclusion was drawn:(1)there is a stable time perception process in the brain, which can accurately generate the task time interval after training. At the millisecond scale, the length of time interval has no significant effect on the accuracy of time generation, and the feedback probability has no significant effect on the behavior result of time generation. However, the time interval length will affect the direction of error generated by the time, that is,if the production time is shorter, the result is often longer, and if the production time is longer, the result is often shorter. This is consistent with Vierordt’s law in the psychology of time.(2)In the process of time perception,a slow and stable negative wave CNV appears in the forehead, and its waveform duration is proportional to the length of time interval, which can be regarded as a neural response marker of time perception;theta, alpha, low beta event-related desynchronization(ERD)and high beta Event-related synchronization(ERD)in the forehead during the task ERS is a neural response feature in the timefrequency dimension.(3)The lower the individual alpha frequency(IAF)of the subjects, the stronger the time perception ability. Therefore, individualized tACS regulation studies can be conducted based on this feature.Based on the content of the first part, the second part of this thesis proposes and verifies an individualized time perception regulation scheme based on tACS.Using subjects’ IAF-2Hz,IAF and IAF+2Hz as individual regulatory variables, the tACS regulation experiment designed in the subject was conducted. The results showed that the time perception ability of the subjects was enhanced effectively in the IAF-2Hz tACS stimulation task, and there was a significant after-effect.The regulation effect of IAF and IAF+2Hz is not obvious.EEG analysis showed that in the post-test task of IAF-2Hz stimulation,ERD in low alpha band was significantly enhanced, which may be the reason for the effective regulation of IAF-2Hz tACS.In conclusion, this thesis identifies the characteristic neural response in time perception through self-initiated millisecond level time generation task, design and verify effective individualized tACS regulation scheme, providing causal evidence for the relationship between behavior and neural oscillations in time perception process, and providing effective potential intervention means for enhancing time perception ability and diagnosing and treating time perception impairment.
