Research On The Development Of Football Education In East China(1840-1937)

Modern football was introduced to China at the end of the 19 th century,and gradually spread among universities in East China in the late thirties of the 20 th century,and formed a campus football cultural circle with certain regional characteristics.With the development of football culture,university football education in East China has gradually improved,leaving a strong mark on university football in East China.This paper studies and analyzes the development,construction and characteristics of university football courses in East China in modern times through documentary data method and historical research.This research is mainly introduced from the following five parts: the first part mainly introduces the origin,significance of topic selection,research status,research objects and research methods.In this study,the soccer course of universities in East China was the research object,and the documentary data method and historical analysis method were the main research methods.The second part is mainly the historical background of the rise of university football education in East China.The third part mainly analyzes the development of university football in East China in modern times.This study divides the university football education war in East China into three different periods with the founding of the Republic of China and the establishment of education as two key time points.In addition,three different educational approaches are analyzed and concluded:football training teams in universities,football classes in physical education classes,and football activities in extracurricular sports activities.The fourth part mainly introduces some football resources generated by university football in East China,including inter-university football exchange circles,football teaching materials,and also introduces some excellent football teachers and athletes.The fifth part evaluates the historical value of university football programs in East China and refers to the conclusions drawn from the study.The main conclusions of the research are: First,under the influence of the introduction of modern Western sports,the Chinese people’s concept of sports has changed,due to the special vitality of football itself,and under the promotion of college sports competition organizations,the construction of university football education has developed rapidly.Second,football in East China first took root in schools since its introduction,and the development of football in the early stage of the case was natural and orderly and showed a certain sequence,and the construction of university football in East China during this period formed a situation in which competitive football was the leader to drive the development of other forms of education.That is,the prototype of three football education models of football training,extracurricular sports and football classes has been shaped.Third,from the perspective of development history,the construction of football education in colleges and universities in East China has become institutionalized and standardized,and football training has been scientific,football extracurricular activities are specialized,seasonal,and football curriculum construction has been enriched.Fourth,the construction of university football courses in East China has formed a college football exchange circle with regional characteristics,produced a large number of high-quality football teaching materials,and shaped a group of excellent football teachers and athletes.At the same time,it promoted the enlightenment of ideas,and made the development of women’s football,and school football went abroad and began to go to the world.Fifth,the Chinese people’s understanding of football has changed,the construction of university football courses has reached a new height,and campus football has become a bridge for cultural exchanges among colleges and universities.Due to the limited sports resources of the school,coupled with the influence of "championship doctrine",the development of the school is unbalanced inside and outside.
