| An important entry point to understand the traditional culture is the Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming dynasties,not only because of its role as a link between the previous and the subsequent learning of Confucius and Mencius,but also because of its profound thought has had a profound influence on China in nearly one thousand years.When tracing the origin of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming dynasties,they used the Ercheng brothers.In their thoughts,many modern and contemporary scholars believe that Cheng Hao’s thoughts started the academic branch of later Neo-Confucianism and mind science,and he was the real foundation of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties.This is a very important point of view for the study of the Ercheng Thought in modern times.Cheng Hao once said,"Although I have received some from my studies,the word" heavenly principles "was born of my own thoughtfulness." The question of what exactly Cheng Hao was considerate of and how he got it is used throughout this article."Everything in the world is just feeling and responding to the ear" Cheng Hao used to instruct people,can be a good understanding and explanation of how Cheng Hao "considerate" out of the word "heaven".The thought of "the connection between heaven and man" has always been the core pivot of Confucianism.In the conception of divination and the conception of divination in Zhou Dynasty,the conception of divination lays the foundation of cosmology for the ethics and morality of Confucianism in Dong Zhongshu’s system.The Confucian scholars of Song and Ming Dynasties creatively transformed the thoughts of Zhouyi and Han scholars,which gradually became an important core concept of Confucianism.In order to further study Cheng Hao thought,"straight into the tower" considerate way is Cheng Hao attitude,is also an important method in the study of this paper.The most appropriate understanding and elaboration of Cheng Haotian’s theoretical thoughts in the "considerate" is "induction".The concrete development of the thought of induction is the logic behind the consistent Daoism of Confucianism: "The heart is only in danger,the Daoxin is only small,the essence is only,and the ability to hold the center".The "one and the same" is the foundation,and in Cheng Hao is his thorough thought of "heavenly principles".The noumenon of sense is the pure and all-encompassing "heavenly mind",which is based on the nature of the whole creation of heaven and earth and the nature of life in human beings.Therefore,the nature has all the principles and is the same,so it can respond.By its "unity" so can open the "doctrine of the mean" thought,by its "no two" so can learn and reach.The core of learning up is to restore the exiled induction ontology,through the "sincere respect" and "righteousness" of the retaliative time to make "rest assured" into pure also unceasingly "heavenly heart",only heavenly heart can sense with heaven and "know the destiny of heaven","know the destiny of heaven" can then continue to reach the state of "ear obedience" and "obey the heart without exceeding the rule".Therefore,this paper will try to reinterpret Cheng Hao’s theory of heaven around "induction".The paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction.Besides introducing the necessary research background,significance and path,it mainly discusses three main aspects of the study of Cheng Hao thought by modern scholars.The first is the subjudgment study of the basic materials of Cheng Hao thought.Because few explicit materials were handed down by Cheng Hao,many of them were mixed in the Second Cheng Hao Collection and recorded as "Er master language".Therefore,in order to understand Cheng Hao’s "heavenly principles" more accurately and comprehensively,the subjudgment study of his basic materials is indispensable.The second is the study of the ideological differences between the two Cheng Hao brothers.In many cases,Cheng Hao’s thoughts are shown by comparing them.In order to further study Cheng Hao’s personal thoughts,the study of the ideological differences between the two Cheng Hao brothers is helpful to further understand Cheng Hao’s own thoughts.Finally,there is a separate study of Cheng Hao thought.Since modern times,some scholars have noticed the depth and uniqueness of Cheng Hao thought,and gradually started the thematic study of Cheng Hao thought from different perspectives.The second part is the main text,which is divided into four chapters,elaborating Cheng Hao’s profound thoughts from four aspects: the origin of his induction thoughts,the literal meaning of Tianli,the meaning of Tianli,and the consideration of Tianli.Induction thought is the logic behind Cheng Hao thought.Therefore,to discuss the text origin of induction thought is the prerequisite for entering Cheng Hao thought.The word "Tianli" was thoughtfully created by Cheng Hao in his own home.The interpretation of the meaning of these two words in the background and tradition of the characters is the basis of our modern understanding of the induction thought contained in the original meaning of "Tianli";The Yi Yi of Tianli is the key to understand Cheng Hao’s thought of Tianli.Through analyzing the content of Tianli,the scale of the inductive thought behind the "Tianli" is shown.The last chapter is the final destination of Cheng Hao’s thought of "heavenly Li".In ancient scholars’ writings,the thoughtfulness of "Heavenly Li" actually expresses the final destination of Cheng Hao’s thought of induction.To walk in the world with the middle way is to truly take care of Heavenly Li,to perceive Heavenly Li,pure induction is heavenly Li,and heavenly Li is pure induction.The third part is the epilogue.This part summarizes Cheng Hao’s thought of heaven through induction,and points out its far-reaching influence in the history of thought,which is still a thought that we need to keep learning and using for reference today.At the same time,it is pointed out that the ways and methods of the thinkers represented by Cheng Hao in the Northern Song Dynasty made efforts to inherit the excellent traditional culture have important enlightenment for the research on the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture that is being gradually strengthened now,and also have an important reference role for the well-being of modern people’s spiritual home. |
