Research On The Design Of Metro Space Wayfinding Based On The Spitir Of Place

With the continuous maturity and development of the TOD model,urban subway transportation not only has the functions of transfer and ride,but also carries the passenger flow of the recreational and educational areas in the surrounding cities forming a complex transportation space.In such an increasingly complex space,The role of guiding facilities in subway space should not only focus on the basic functions such as guiding and guidance,but also need to pay more attention to the spaciality,locality and passengers’ experience in the space.It also determines whether the complex information of subway space can be more appropriately and humanized to people in the space,so as to ensure that people can carry out activities comfortably and efficiently in the subway space.In the existing subway space,the design of wayfinding still focuses on basic functions such as wayfinding,lacking attention to regional culture and ignoring the emotional experience of passengers,put forward the design method of connecting the "spirit" with expression techniques,shaping the "spirit" with humanistic attributes,and concluding the "spirit" with spatial logic,so as to solve the common problems existing in the current subway space guidance.To break through the homogenous design expression of guidance and design a subway space guidance system that has emotional resonance with passengers and symbiosis with the space environment.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter first explains the research background,purposes and significance,content and method of the thesis,at the same time summarizes the domestic and foreign research on subway guide and place spirit theory,and finally expounds the innovation and difficulty of the thesis.The second chapter mainly introduces the interpretation of relevant concepts,as well as the relationship and function of subway space guide and place spirit,and the significance of subway space guide design integrating the theory of place spirit.The third chapter mainly combines relevant theoretical knowledge to investigate and analyze the current situation of subway wayfinding design at home and abroad,and summarizes the current problems of wayfinding design in subway space,which lays a practical foundation for the design practice in the following sections.The fourth chapter analyzes the design considerations of subway space wayfinding under the spirit of place,and summarizes the design method of subway space wayfinding combined with the problems mentioned above.The fifth chapter is to verify the feasibility of the proposed method through design practice.The research on the theory of place-spirit of subway space guiding design has a strong practical application significance in the combination of place-spirit theory,and plays a positive role in promoting the development and improvement of subway space.It not only broadens the research direction of urban subway space guidance design,but also promotes the construction of people-oriented intelligent subway traffic guidance in the new era,ensuring the balance between the material needs and spiritual needs of passengers,so as to establish a friendly and efficient urban subway space.
