The Application Of Regional Culture In Public Art Creation

This document first sets out the purpose and relevance of the topic chosen,drawing on the current state of research at home and abroad,it explores creative methods,proposes the specificity of Minqin’s regional culture,and explores the idea of using regional culture to create public art while exploring regional culture,the geographical environment and cultural background of the Minqin region.By bringing the perspective of public art to a contemporary art fringe area like Minqin County,local humanities and folk culture are integrated into the creation of public art,and public art interventions are carried out in Minqin’s natural environment,promoting the development of cultural tourism in Minqin County and showcasing the unique regional cultural characteristics of Minqin County.It is understood that public art interventions in the wild are rare,and there are still some problems in practice that need improvement.Focusing on the regional landscape,this study takes humanisation,interactivity and integration as its guiding ideology,incorporates both aspects in the work,and combines interactive and functional creation on the basis of the preservation of outstanding culture to analyse the aesthetic value of public sculpture in the Minqin desert region.It is hoped that the theoretical approach presented in this work will provide a useful basis for the creation of public art in the Minqin Desert region.
