As a German composer in the heyday of Romanticism,Reinecke’s sonata "Undine" is his most representative work and one of the most famous flute sonatas of this period.His works take mythological novels as the creative background,sonatas as the creative genre,and combine the performance skills and expressive power of romantic flute to tell a tragic love story in the form of music.This article takes Reinecke’s flute sonata "The Water Goddess" as the research object,combines the era background,life experience,and creative style of Reinecke’s life,and on the basis of understanding the creative process and background of "Undine",focuses on analyzing the concept of "Undine",summarizing its characteristics in music structure,tonal layout,harmonic use,melody development,and texture form;Explore the performance techniques used in the work,explore the requirements of the work in terms of breath,timbre,and intonation,and gain insight into the use of techniques such as articulation in the performance of the work.These studies have enabled the author to understand his own performance skills from different perspectives,and have played an important guiding role in the future of the author’s flute performance.
