| Procrastination is defined as "the behavior of voluntarily postponing the completion of tasks despite the expectation that it will lead to deterioration".It will not only reduce the efficiency of life and learning,but also may cause great harm to the physical health and psychological status of individuals.Although a large number of studies have confirmed the positive relationship between anxiety and procrastination,there are also experimental studies showing that when anxiety reaches a certain level,individuals will reduce or terminate their procrastination behaviors due to high anxiety state.So the relationship between anxiety and procrastination needs to be explored further.As the most socially active youth group,the mental state and executive power of 18-35 years old are closely related to social development.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the relationship between anxiety and procrastination of individuals in this age group and to find effective factors affecting the relationship and the specific effects of these factors for the healthy development of individuals and society.This paper first explores the relationship between individual anxiety and its subtypes and various types of procrastination through meta-analysis,and then conducts an empirical study based on the results of meta-analysis to further explore the effects of savoring and emotional eating on anxiety and procrastination in young people.The mediating effects of savoring and emotional eating were tested by establishing a moderated mediation model.The results of this paper show that: There is a moderate positive correlation between individual anxiety and procrastination,and the relationship between individual anxiety and procrastination has nothing to do with the cultural background,school level and gender.There is no significant difference between the relationship between different types of anxiety and individual procrastination,and the relationship between different types of procrastination and individual anxiety is different,among which active procrastination and individual anxiety is negatively correlated.Emotional eating played a mediating role between anxiety and procrastination in 18-35 years old.The influence of anxiety on procrastination was moderated by savoring,and the positive effect of anxiety on procrastination increased with the improvement of savoring. |
