According to incomplete statistics,a large number of popular allusions have been produced in the book " Shishuoxinyu "(hereinafter or referred to as "Sayings of the World")written by Liu Yiqing,king of Linchuan.There are 398 allusions in the new Shishuoxinyu,among which 322 are from the original text and 76 from Liu Xiaobiao’s notes.The two together constitute the allusion system of the new Shishuoxinyu,providing rich materials for the poetry creation of the literati in the Tang and Song Dynasties.Reference allusions in Tang and Song Dynasties,in the poetry creation become west-wing spread to accept one of the main way Tang and Song Dynasty literati and frequently quoted in the poetry West-wing allusions,and presents the respective style and features: The number of allusions in Shishuoxinyu in Tang Dynasty poems is generally low,showing a trend of low to high to medium,and the trend is relatively gentle.The number of allusions to Shishuoxinyu in Song Dynasty poems is relatively high,the overall growth with inverted parabolic type,rolling,and different genres different classes and different personality of the Song Dynasty poet,the use of West-wing allusions are also different preference for using the poets in Tang Dynasty West-wing eligibility spirit to express likes and praise the characters in the appearance,such as fengshen allusions;The poets of the Tang Dynasty,represented by Li Bai and Du Fu,are more willing to use the allusions that express the elegance and free from vulgarity.Their quotation of the new sayings of the world is basically based on the traditional practical techniques of using both the right and the wrong,using the dark and using the single quotation and the repeated quotation.The poets of the Song Dynasty represented by Su Shi Huang Tingjian used the world to talk about the new language is more complex,in addition to the basic usage in tang poetry,they also expanded and invented new practical skills such as the use of borrowing,cutting off and changing to use.The tang and Song poems have formed obvious differences in the number of allusions,types and methods of use,while the Song poems have greatly promoted the use of allusions based on the Tang poems.First of all,on the one hand,the Song people continued to use the allusions already used by the Tang people,on the other hand,they explored and popularized the new allusions in Shishuoxinyu,and expanded the scope of allusions in Shishuoxinyu.Secondly,in the process of quoting allusions in Shishuoxinyu,song people enriched the connotation of allusions in Shishuoxinyu by choosing new words and perspectives.Finally,the allusion to Shishuoxinyu in Song poems is more diversified,more intensive and more effective.It is from these three aspects that Song people greatly promoted the influence of Shishuoxinyu and gradually established its status as a classical text in Song Dynasty.There are many differences in the use of allusions between Tang poetry and Song poetry,which can be attributed to four reasons: Firstly,the difference in the circulation is the primary factor leading to the difference in the use of allusions by Tang and Song poets,and the appearance of the printed edition in the Southern Song Dynasty makes it possible for the wide spread of Shishuoxinyu.Secondly,the different pursuit of the cultural character of poetry influenced the poets’ preference and choice of allusions in Shishuoxinyu.Thirdly,the internal development rules of poetry art make the poets of Tang and Song form different ideas about how to use things,which also affect their allusions to Shishuoxinyu.Fourthly,from the point of view of the text of Shishuoxinyu,the different acceptance of novel style by poets in Tang and Song Dynasties is one of the reasons for the different use of Shishuoxinyu in Tang and Song Dynasties.
