| Binary opposition is the core category of structuralism,and also an important theme in the academic history of folk literature.At the beginning of folk literature,it profoundly influenced the folk view of intellectuals——how intellectuals view "folk".According to the beginning of folk literature(1918-1937),starting from the relationship between "elite literature" and "folk literature",the different folk views of four intellectuals,including Hu Shi,Gu Jiegang,Zheng Zhenduo and Zhang Qingshui,were selected to reveal the different positions of intellectuals’ folk views and summarize the ideal forms of intellectual folk views.The first chapter is intended to reveal hu Shi’s literary view of binary opposition.From vernacular literature to vernacular literature,and then from vernacular literature to folk literature,Hu Shi has formed a binary and antagonistic thinking framework in the construction of separation and migration.Folk/temple,vernacular/ancient Chinese,and civilian/noble naturally become synonymous with expressing the two opposing elements.The second chapter is intended to reveal the historical view that Gu jiegang is equal to.Gu jiegang divided Chinese culture into sage culture and popular culture from a binary perspective,and believed that the two were an equal relationship.Both "for the academic",while not searching for the valuable materials,but also "for the literary",excavating the lost glory of the "national poetry" in the popular culture.The third chapter is intended to reveal Zheng Zhenduo’s inclusive view of common literature.Zheng Zhenduo designated the literary circle as orthodox literature and common literature / folk literature.He has been trying to explore literary works reflecting the position of the common people and formed an inclusive folk view.This can not only realize the limitations of simply writing binary opposition literary views,but also provide the space for the attention of vulgar literary works.The fourth chapter aims to reveal zhang Qingshui’s practice.Although Zhang Qingshui refers to the replacement of discipline scope and talks about folklore rather than folk literature,his folk view can best reflect the opposition between the official and folk classes.He took root in the fields with a solid civilian position,paid attention to current affairs,and fully expressed his love for the people and his criticism of the rulers.The fifth chapter is intended to reveal the ideal form of the intellectual folk view.The ideal form of intellectual folk view is the logical node network established by binary opposition as the core framework,which is composed of nodes such as binary separation,concept migration,retrospective history tracing,relationship construction and attitude expression.As the successful application of the methodology,the new "node" has undoubtedly established the paradigm of studying the thought history of social figures with the logical "node" network.This study under the perspective of binary opposition in 1918-1937 "elite literature" and "folk literature" relationship for view of how Chinese intellectuals think of folk,with four research samples to return to the historical context,in the academic history of folk literature subject review of fuzzy orientation,the pursuit of folk literature under the May 4th tradition as the core of social culture care and inclusive broad research field of vision. |
