| Bach-Busoni Chaconne is a piano piece adapted by Italian composer Ferruccio Busoni(1866-1924)from Bach’s "Six Unaccompanied Sonatas and Suites" for violin,Chaconne in d minor. In this cross-instrument adaptation,Busoni carried out pianized recombination from the aspects of harmony and polyphonic techniques,so as to sublimate the melody of the violin. At the same time,he deeply explored the complex characteristics of the original music and gave full play to the superiority of the piano in playing polyphonic themes. On the basis of Bach’s original work,Busoni deeply developed the musical expression.Combining the music creation techniques of the late 19 th century and the early 20 th century with the Baroque music style,Busoni’s neo-classical thought was vividly reflected in the adaptation of this Baroque period work, giving a new life to Bach’s Chaconne unaccompanied violin music. This article will first compare the original version of Bach’s "d Minor Chaconne BWV.1004" and Busoni’s adaptation of "Chaconne" to analyze the similarities and differences between the adaptation and the original overall style;Secondly,in view of the musical characteristics and playing elements of Bach-Busoni’s "Chaconne in d Minor",this paper expounds in detail from four aspects: the characteristics of complex tone, the arrangement of voice levels, the use of pedals, and the handling of speed changes. Finally, through the study of the data of different audio versions, this paper will make a comparative analysis from four aspects of speed change design, voice level arrangement, playing version selection and overall playing style, presenting a variety of possibilities in the performance processing of this piece, hoping to provide more references for other players in the way of music processing. |
