| Edvard Hagerup Grieg(1843-1907)was a landmark figure in Norwegian folk music.He was known at the time as the "Chopin of the North",and was inherited the German-austrian classical romantic tradition and influenced the Impressionist music.Grieg was deeply influenced by the German-Austrian Romantic tradition in composing music,and his works have been instrumental in the development of Norwegian folk music.The Violin Sonata No.2 in G major,Op.13,was composed at the height of the Norwegian national independence movement under the influence of his close friend Richard Nordlake.This work fully embodies the Norwegian national style and national sentiment,and such national sentiment is reflected in a large number of Grieg’s compositions,which have been enthusiastically performed by subsequent performers and continue to be performed today.This paper mainly focuses on the structure and performance techniques of this work,and analyzes the important and difficult parts of each movement of the work in detail,and solves the common problems in the practice of this piece through the combination of theory and practice,so that players can understand this piece more comprehensively in order to improve their performance. |
