Aram Khachaturian was a renowned Soviet composer and conductor.His composition,the "Violin Concerto in D minor," was created in November 1940 and premiered by Oistrakh at the Moscow Music Festival,achieving tremendous success.In the first part of the paper,it narrates Khachaturian’s personal experiences and the background of his composition,the "Violin Concerto in D minor." By exploring Khachaturian’s life,this paper aims to understand how his musical style evolved.The second part of the paper delves into the musical style of the composition,examining aspects such as its formal structure,tonality,and harmony.It also highlights Khachaturian’s incorporation of folk melodies and improvisational rhythms,which are distinct characteristics of his style.The third part of the paper focuses on the technical challenges encountered by the author while performing the piece.Through research and exploration of various techniques,it aims to develop a deeper understanding of the composition.
