Research On The Application Of Water-based Materials In The Creation Of Children's Picture Book

Due to the extraordinary significance and role of picture books on children’s growth,in today’s society,children’s picture books have attracted the attention of thousands of families and educators,and with the increasing demand of people,they have also played a very powerful role in promoting the development of original picture books,and creators have also begun to explore and experiment with various forms of expression and painting materials.As the main force of picture book creation materials,its unique material language greatly broadens the style of children’s picture books,and the combination of rationality and irrationality embodied in the material itself not only stimulates the creator’s creative passion,but also provides new possibilities for the creation and innovation of children’s picture books.Due to the material characteristics of its own materials and the diversity of painting techniques,picture book creation is no longer bound to traditional creative forms,which not only meets the rich aesthetic needs of children,stimulates their curiosity and imagination,but also increases the interest of picture book creation itself.This paper will discuss the selection of picture books based on children’s aesthetic needs,and analyze and discuss many excellent picture book works at home and abroad from three perspectives: their artistic characteristics,artistic expression techniques,and their significance and influence on children.Combined with the author’s picture book creation practice process,the application and performance of water-based materials in children’s picture book creation are discussed.
