| “Escape” is an eternal theme in literature,around which many literary works are created in China and abroad.In feminist literature,Generally,“Escape” is a way for women to recognize and redeem themselves,and it reveals women’s helplessness and resistance to the society constructed by male discourse.Feminist geography focuses on the mutually constructed relationship between women and space,which mainly discusses the relationship between women,space,and power.Based on the female’s emotional experience,the situation of women in various spatial fields is investigated from the perspective of their feminism and space,which reveals the reasons why women become “the second sex”.In this paper,we explore women’s existence in various spatial fields and the reasons for their sense of“Escape” from feminist geography.This paper explores women’s “Escape” based on feminist geography.The classic literary works are interpreted from the perspectives of feminine consciousness,spatial gendering,and identity.The work Must Learn to Fly is discussed from external space,internal space,and spatial transfer,which reveals the reasons for women’s predicament from the perspectives of society,marriage,and growth.At last,the possibilities and approaches are searched for women to get out of the predicament and escape from the loop of escaping-returning-escaping. |
