Research On The Creative Techniques And Performance Techniques Of Shostakovich’s String Quartet No.7

As one of the most important composers in the Soviet Union and one of the world’s famous composers in the 20 th century,Shostakovich’s creative ideas have always adhered to his own inner principles,and his creative style is also very unique.The number and type of his creations are so extensive that it has played a very important and far-reaching impact on the development of music in the 20 th century and even the whole history of music.His works involve a wide range of types,including symphonies,concertos,chamber music,solos,operas,film and television music,including 15 string quartets.The chamber music work "The Seventh String Quartet" was written by the composer in 1960.This article mainly explores the composer’s unique composition techniques used in this piece of music from the composer’s works of this transitional period,and what challenges and inspiration these techniques have brought to the performers.Among them,the body of this article is divided into four parts.The first part mainly contains the life and composition of the composer.The second part mainly includes the creative overview of the Seventh String Quartet itself,such as the use of composition techniques such as tonality and structural layout,non-third-degree superimposed chord,minus octave mode,tempo change and stress displacement,signature dominant motivation.The third part mainly includes the problems that the performer should pay attention to when performing the Seventh String Quartet,and explores how the performer can correctly handle the specific performance techniques in the music to express the deep philosophy and emotion of the music.The fourth part is the conclusion and thinking of the above research.This part mainly discusses the artistic value of "The Seventh String Quartet" and the research and performance inspiration of this music.
