Exploration Of The Creation Of Children's Feature Films Based On "character Arc

This paper reviews the development course of Chinese children’s films,and finds the common problem of "conceptualization of children’s image shaping" in previous works.This paper analyzes this problem with "character arc" as the starting point,and concludes that there are three causes of this problem: first,the design of character arc ignores children’s subjectivity;second,it lacks attention to the interaction between children’s arc and time and space;third,it ignores the expression of hidden elements on children’s growth arc.In order to solve the above problems,the author takes the children’s drama film Become Another You created by himself as an example,and combines the three-dimensional theory of characters,dramatic conflict theory,spatial narrative theory,time narrative theory and other relevant literary and artistic creation theories to explain how to combine the three elements of plot,space-time narrative and hidden elements,design full arc,real and reliable,interpretable character arc for children.
