The Application And Creative Practice Of Henan Opera Elements In Chinese Music Work

As a unique genre in Chinese traditional culture,Henan opera is increasingly used in Chinese musical works.With the continuous exchange of musical culture between China and Western countries,as well as the infiltration of Western compositional techniques,Chinese composers are trying to incorporate Henan opera into Chinese music,which inherits and carries forward Chinese wonderful traditional culture,giving the music its own cultural root and soul.Firstly,this paper briefly summarizes the development of Henan opera,further introducing Chinese music which involves the elements of Henan opera recently.Two representative music are further studied and elaborated in this paper.On one hand,through the analysis of the instrumental work Yu Tune and the background of it,this thesis discusses the application of such Henan opera elements as the tonal scales,plate structures and harmonies in the instrumental works.On the other hand,with the analyzing of If I were a woman,the excerpt of the national opera Mulan Psalms,the paper expounds the use of Henan opera elements in vocal w orks.The article takes the aboved two Chinese musical works with Henan opera elements as typical cases,deeply studying and considering the unique vocal plate structure,tonal and rhythmic characteristics,especially the language tones with typical local feature,also combining personal creative experience of applying Henan opera elements in the music to explore the artistic value and the practical application of Henan opera in the music composition.Simultaneously,the connection and integration between Henan opera and Chinese music can also provide some reference for the creation and development of Chinese traditional culture.
