Chinese adverbs are a central class of words in the modern Chinese language system, and they are also a major difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Antonym-compound mood adverbs are a group of adverbs with a rather special form in Chinese mood adverbs, including more than a dozen antonym-compound adverbs such as "fanzheng","haodai","sihuo","hengshu","zuoyou","gaodi","zaowan","chizao","shizhong",and so on.At present, the research on more than a dozen adverbs such as "fanzheng" and "sihuo" in Chinese academia is rich and diverse, but most of the research remain in ontology research, and there are relatively few studies on teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Therefore, the research goal of this paper is to take the three plane grammar theories and semantic grammar theory as the theoretical guidance, and select the antonym compound adverbs "shizhong","zaowan" and "chizao" as the research objects. At the level of ontological research, the semantics, grammar and pragmatics of "shizhong","zaowan" and "chizao" are studied in depth.Based on the ontological research, the corresponding teaching strategies for these three antonymic compound adverbs are designed. For the ontological research part of this paper, the research methods of descriptive analysis,form-meaning combination method and comparative analysis method are used respectively, and the questionnaire method is used for the bias analysis of international students.First, this paper comprehensively summarizes the scholarly achievements of the academic community on antonymic compound mood adverbs, analyses and summarizes the shortcomings of the current research, and proposes the significance and method of this study. Then, based on the ontological research of "shizhong","zaowan" and "chizao",this paper examines the corpus of CCL and BCC,analyses the syntactic, grammatical and pragmatic features of the three, compares them and summarises the similarities and differences between them. Therefore, based on ontology research, this paper designs a questionnaire for international students to use "shizhong","zaowan" bias questionnaire and statistics, combined with the bias corpus in the HSK dynamic composition corpus,to analyse the main types of bias in the use of these three adverbs by international students are misordering, omission and misgeneration. The main reasons for the bias are the adverb itself has a complex meaning and is difficult to understand, the preparation of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language is not reasonable, and there are not enough teachers of Chinese as a foreign language. Finally, based on the results of ontology research and the causes of bias, feasible teaching strategies in semantics, grammar and pragmatics are proposed, hoping to better serve the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. Finally, the research concludes the laws of syntax, semantics and pragmatics of "shizhong","zaowan" and "chizao" in the ontology and finds the differences between them.In terms of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,we find that in terms of semantic teaching,we can use teaching methods such as morphemes, whole words and situational teaching methods to teach semantics. In terms of grammar teaching, heuristic teaching methods and task-based teaching methods can be used to allow international students to learn by doing and understand their grammar rules;in terms of pragmatic teaching, communicative methods and situational methods can be used to allow international students to understand and master their usage in an immersive way.
