Abstract/Summary:
Han Slips from Xuanquan(Volume Ⅰ)was published in December 2019,releasing a total of 2,300 slips in Han Dynasty.It is rich in content,including postal books,official documents,laws,decrees,products,etc.,which is conducive to the studies of specific subjects,such as the issue of Western Regions and Transmission.Due to its precious value,the clarification of the characters and words in Han Slips from Xuanquan is beneficial to further researches.It covers multiple fonts,namely,regular scripts,cursive writing and semi-cursive ones,in addition to the small seal and italic characters written by the practitioners.The characters in Han Dynasty,inheriting the past and enlightening the present,are of great significance in the development of Chinese characters.The coexistence of various writing styles in Han Slips from Xuanquan provides abundant materials for studies on the development and usage of Han Dynasty writing.Based on the plates and interpretations in the published Han Slips from Xuanquan(Volume Ⅰ),this paper adopts the method of computer scanning screenshots of the glyph pictures,strives to preserve the original appearance of the glyphs,compiles and organizes a text compilation,and forms a special text reference book to check the use of glyphs and help scholars carry out further research.This paper is divided into three parts,the first part is an introduction,mainly introducing the research of Xuanquan Post and slips;the second part is the word list,which is the main part,including basic part,residual word list,symbol list,and word inspection list.The main part is preceded by a small seal,sorted according to Shuo-Wen Chieh-Tzu,followed by italics glyphs.If it is not found in Shuo-Wen Chieh-Tzu,a "*" is added at the beginning of the word as a logo.The shapes of each character are listed under the word head in the form of pictures,and the character picture is accompanied by simple numbers and examples.The residual word list includes characters that are blurred due to the light color and those with illegible strokes,and some unaccounted whole characters are also temporarily listed.The inspection list is arranged according to the stroke of each word for easy retrieval.The third part is an appendix,which synthesizes the results of the interpretation and conjugation of each family,and draws on the strengths of all,which is divided into the statistical table of the conjugation,the revised interpretation of Han Slips from Xuanquan(Volume Ⅰ).
