Western watercolor painting has been introduced and rooted in China for more than a hundred years.It has been widely accepted because of its high similarity with Chinese painting because of its water-based characteristics.unique local characteristics.Among them,residential buildings,as local landmarks,have local characteristics,and have always been the subjects that watercolor painters are keen to express.As a symbol of northern Shaanxi culture,cave dwellings in northern Shaanxi have attracted more and more attention from painters for their rough and simple aesthetic expression of painting.In the 1990 s,with the continuous development of science and technology and the advent of the image era,the amount of information disseminated continued to increase,and the information people came into contact with gradually became fragmented.The artist’s painting perspective changed from the previous macro perspective to something closer to everyday A microscopic view of life.This paper takes the theme of folk houses in northern Shaanxi as the research direction,and studies the watercolor performance of the theme of folk houses in northern Shaanxi from a micro perspective,in order to supplement the research gap of this theme in the micro perspective.The introduction of the first part of this paper briefly introduces the topic background,significance and significance of topic selection,research status and achievements of topic selection from the microscopic perspective of folk houses in northern Shaanxi;the second part studies the aesthetic characteristics of folk houses in northern Shaanxi,the current situation and microcosmic An overview of perspectives and watercolor works from a micro perspective;the third part explores the architectural decoration and painting elements in the corners of life of folk houses in northern Shaanxi from a micro perspective;in the fourth part,the author combines theory with creative practice to study The creative practice,creative conception,and creative techniques of folk houses in northern Shaanxi from the micro perspective,and explore the significance and value of watercolor painting creation from the micro perspective of folk houses in northern Shaanxi;finally,the author believes that the watercolor expression of the folk houses in northern Shaanxi presents Shaanxi from a micro perspective.The beauty of the northern cave dwellings,to a certain extent,extends the watercolor expression of the cave dwellings in northern Shaanxi,and plays a positive role in arousing humanistic care and promoting folk culture.
