Guzheng is one of the important representatives of traditional Chinese musical instruments,with a long history and profound cultural heritage.It is an ancient plucked and stringed musical instrument of the Han ethnic group.Over the course of over two thousand years of development,Zheng music has gone through different periods of evolution and development,like a surging river,with new works infused into this traditional river in each period,making it a long-standing tradition.Compared with traditional zheng music,new works from each period have both connections and transcendence,as well as inheritance and changes.The art of guzheng in the20 th century entered a new historical period,and innovation has brought the development of guzheng music to a new height.This article starts from analyzing the trajectory of the development of guzheng,explores its development process and reasons for formation,combines with the background of the times,summarizes the overall characteristics of the development and innovation of various aspects of Chinese zheng music,explores the significance of its development,and looks forward to the future development direction of guzheng.Based on the above ideas,this article is divided into four parts in addition to the introduction and conclusion:Chapter 1: Analyze the development history,origin,and form evolution of the Guzheng;Provide an overview of representative Zheng schools and analyze the causes of the formation of traditional Zheng schools.Chapter 2: With the innovation of Guzheng repertoire creation as the core,summarize,organize and analyze the creative themes,creative groups,string arrangement,and rhythm of zheng music.Chapter 3: Summarize the development of guzheng art with the innovation of guzheng performance forms and techniques as the main body.Chapter 4: Emphasis is placed on the innovation of the form of the ancient Chinese zither,which is divided into two parts: the innovation of the new type of zither and the innovation based on the S-21 string zither.It involves the use methods,innovations,advantages and disadvantages of various new types of zither,as well as the sorting and overview of various aspects such as the string hole,string groove,kite making material,kite body decoration,Houyue Mountain,kite code,structure,etc.on the S-21 string zither foundation.
