| Huang Huwei is a famous composer and theorist in China,who has created many well-known music works both domestically and internationally.Among them,piano music plays an important role in his creative field.This article takes "Selected Piano Works of Huang Huwei" edited by Tong Daojin and Wang Qinyan as the research object,and conducts an in-depth analysis of all published piano solo works of Huang Huwei from the perspective of harmony techniques,in order to explore Huang Huwei’s personalized harmony language.The article is divided into five parts: Chapter 1 mainly provides an overview and analysis of Huang Huwei’s life,an overview of his music works,the folk song materials and techniques used in his creation,and the musical structures in his works;The second chapter is a study of the chord structure in Huang Huwei’s piano works,mainly discussing from three aspects: the nationalization of chord structure,pentatonic chords,and composite chords;The third chapter is an analysis of harmony.Huang Huwei,while retaining the characteristics of traditional Western harmony,explored the national character and divided it into four categories: functional progression that highlights the five tone characteristics,parallel progression,continuous progression,and linear progression in the low voice part;Chapter 4 is the characteristic application of mode and tonality,analyzing from five aspects: mode type,compound tonality,expansion of tonality using tonal relationship alternation technology,tonal transfer techniques,and tonal layout of the work,to further study the harmonic technical characteristics in Huang Huwei’s piano works;On the basis of analyzing the harmony techniques in Huang Huwei’s piano works,Chapter 5 explores the creative philosophy and influence of Huang Huwei’s piano works.Through the research in this article,we aim to explore the personalized harmony techniques in Huang Huwei’s piano works,in order to provide useful assistance for the theoretical research of Chinese pentatonic mode harmony. |
