On The Dramatic Construction Of Character Image In The Writing Of Stage Play

The stage play Perfect Copy tells the story of Sun Kexin who created another perfect self due to split personality when she was hurt by school bullying and her native family.From the perspective of the stage creator,this paper combines Tan Pei-sheng and Archer’s theories on drama characters,conflicts and drama.By analyzing classic plays and summarizing the characterization methods of scriptwriters,this paper explores the dramatic construction of characters in the script creation of stage plays,and reflects on the gains and losses in the process of dramatic construction of characters in combination with my own graduation writing of stage plays.
