The Women’s New Martial Arts in Mainland,also known as Women’s martial arts,is a new phenomenon in the development of martial arts since the 21 st century.As a literary phenomenon,Women’s martial arts have their own logical rules of development and evolution.Their emergence is inseparable from the tradition of martial literature and the cultural context of the times,becoming an important window to investigate the development of contemporary martial arts literature.In the 21 st century,Xuan Huan novels,Traversal novels and other types of popular literature has developed rapidly.With the emergence of network original literature website,the propagation modes of literature has changed,depressed the Wuxia novels market.At the same time,as Jin Yong,Liang Yusheng and other new Wuxia novelists from Hong Kong and Taiwan retired from the Wuxia literary,the receivers of Wuxia literature structure are update.Under the influence of the Internet and consumerism,the identity of the new generation of "martial arts fans" has become more fluid.Readers who wander in the virtual and fragmented cultural space are no longer satisfied with the stylized writing routines of traditional martial arts novels,but require martial arts novels to actively absorb others popular literature elements.The martial arts cultural industry,such as Ancient and Modern Legends-Martial Arts Edition,is actively seeking innovation and transformation of martial arts novels.Based on this kind of living environment of contemporary martial arts novels,the research can be carried out from four aspects around Women’s martial arts.First of all,the conditions for the occurrence of the 21 st Century Women’s New Martial Arts in Mainland are investigated from multiple perspectives.From the three perspectives of the female writing tradition of the martial arts novels,the promotion of commercial hype,and the age cultural of the sub-cultural elements integration,the commercial context and cultural context of contemporary martial arts novels can be restored in a multi-dimensional way.Secondly,starting with the basic narrative grammar of the martial arts novels,this thesis examines the development of the martial arts novels into the Hou Jin Yong era.In order to meet the reading expectations of the female audience,the author has opened the gender writing window to the new martial arts novels of mainland women in terms of self-innovation of the old Jianghu context and Xiake identity.Thirdly,touch the texture of the mainland women’s new martial arts novels.Through the interpretation of specific works,this thesis explores how women writers correct and supplement some of the narrative gaps in traditional martial arts novels in their creation.Starting from the male chivalrous figure of female writers,the free vitality of female characters,and the construction of a Utopia of female desire outside the male discourse space,this thesis sums up the uniqueness of the writing of mainland women’s new martial arts novels.Finally,return to the Contemporary Wuxia literature environment to explore the value and limitations of female novelist’ innovative writing.Female novelists,represented by Cangyue,actively absorbed the multicultural elements,created modern Wuxia literature specifically for young women,under the packaging hype of booksellers,attracting the attention of a large number of fans,providing new ideas for the breakthrough of contemporary martial arts,but also indirectly pushed the development of traditional martial arts going to die.With the collective exodus of female writers from the field of martial arts creation,the basic narrative grammar of martial arts novels has been broken down into independent narrative elements and integrated into the creation of other genres,accelerating the arrival of a new era.
