The number of Chinese intermediary words is limited, but they play an irreplaceable role in modern Chinese. They can express grammatical meaning together with changes in word order.Prepositions themselves are relatively flexible, have variable positions in sentences, are frequently used compared to other parts of speech, and have abstract meanings. These characteristics make them difficult to teach Chinese as a second language. For foreign students, prepositions are both the focus and difficulty of learning, and various errors often occur during acquisition. Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a specific analysis of a preposition based on the perspective of Chinese as a foreign language, and it will also be helpful for the understanding and application of similar prepositions.By sorting out the grammatical meaning of prepositions,we can find out the reasons for the errors, analyze the errors, and provide teaching suggestions on this basis. This article selects the preposition "Yong" as the research object because "Yong" has a wide range of parts of speech,in which both verbs and prepositions are used frequently, and they are often confused when used; The ontological research and error corpus of preposition "Yong" are relatively rich, which can provide certain reference value for the teaching of preposition "Yong" in Chinese as a foreign language. This article is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction, which combs and summarizes the current research situation of prepositional "use" in ontology and teaching Chinese as a foreign language, introduces the reasons and significance of studying prepositional "use" in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and points out the methods and sources of language materials used in the research process, laying a theoretical foundation for the full text writing. The second part is the ontological analysis of the preposition "Yong".In this part,we explore the preposition "Yong" from four aspects: syntactic function, semantic function, pragmatic function, and comparative analysis with synonymous prepositions. On the basis of previous rich research, the author further summarizes and analyzes the errors, and uses the corpus from the BCC corpus to help understand them, providing a reference basis for the next chapter to analyze the causes of errors. The third part analyzes the errors of prepositional "use".Through observing the corpus of errors,it is found that there are various types of errors in prepositional "use",such as improper collocation, word omissions, and prepositional addition.According to the types of errors,it analyzes the causes of errors such as part of speech confusion, negative transfer of mother tongue, and incomplete interpretation. The fourth part is the teaching suggestions for the preposition "Yong" in Chinese as a foreign language.Aiming at the ontological characteristics and error analysis proposed in the previous two chapters, the author provides targeted teaching principles and methods, striving to make the research in this article helpful to foreign students’ learning and improve learning efficiency.
