Research On Su Baijun’s Meticulous Flower-and-Bird Paintings Inspiration To My Graduation Work "Ying Chuangchuang"

Meticulous painting is one of the traditional Chinese painting forms characterized by rigorous modeling,neat and accurate,and rich colors.After experiencing the glory of the Tang and Song Dynasties,it gradually turned into a trough.Meticulous flower and bird painting swept away the decline and glowed with new brilliance until modern times.At the end of the 20 th century,faced with the onslaught of Western ideas and culture,meticulous painting and even the whole future of Chinese painting have been repeatedly studied and discussed by artists.Nowadays,an accurate picture is essential from the traditional form to the modern aesthetic state.Chinese and Western paintings collide and integrate.In such background,Su Baijun inherited the tradition,borrowed the past to open the present,merged the West into the middle,formed a unique painting language,showed high artistic cultivation,further proposed the "three steps of sketching" in the traditional concept of sketching,and made an essential contribution to the innovation of Contemporary Meticulous painting.As one of the leading figures of Contemporary Meticulous flower and bird painting,his works show the characteristics of diverse themes,diverse forms of expression,diverse styles and diverse languages,which have high research value and reference value.Guided by studying his works,he focuses his artistic concept on graduation creation and explores his tongue as much as possible.The structure of this paper is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the reason,research purpose,research status and research methods.The second chapter describes the artistic styles of Su Baijun’s creative works,which are simple,naive and natural,from three aspects: the inheritance of the spirit of sketching in the Song Dynasty,the legacy of the concept of Lingnan Painting School and the integration of Western painting ideas.The third chapter makes an image analysis of Su Baijun’s two paintings,the picture of pine and crane and the picture of dizzy days,including the composition form,modeling law,line expression,color setting method and artistic conception expression,to inspire my creative concept and picture expression.The fourth chapter is the creative practice of "Yingchuang," which is analyzed from four aspects: composition,line,color and aesthetics.Begin with how to change from sketch to creative draft,and then complete the creation process.At the same time,it makes an in-depth and detailed explanation of personal experience at the technical level and the aesthetic pursuit under the application of language integration.The fifth chapter is the summary and reflection of creation.Art and the times are developing at the same time.Combined with the spirit of the times,we continue to absorb new artistic language,inject our thinking,and draw creative works with personality and new ideas based on inheriting the tradition.Su Baijun’s artistic style and concept significantly influence the author,and his works "the picture of pine and crane" and "dizzy days" are directly related to the author’s graduation creation.Through the image research of these two works,absorb Su Baijun’s creative concept and picture performance,integrate the characteristics of the times and expect to draw their understanding in the creation of meticulous flower and bird painting.
