The Application Of Vuillard’s Research On Interior Scene Painting In My Creative Practice

The édouard Vuillard(Edouard Vuillard,1868.11.11--1940.6.21)was a famous French painter.Vuillard’s paintings are flat and subjective.He consciously gave up 3D and chose to express the picture in a flat way,breaking the traditional outline and advocating artistic transformation.He expresses his subjective thoughts with his free brushwork and subtle color changes.In addition,the subject matter of his paintings is close to life,which fully reflects his love of life.In this paper,Vuillard ’s background,life experience,artistic style,painting emotional research and analysis,and ultimately for the author’s own artistic creation to provide valuable reference.The first chapter mainly analyzes Vuillard ’s background,including his family’s influence and help on his art career,his education at the Julian Academy of Fine Arts and the formation of his art style.The second chapter mainly analyzes the painting language of Vuillard ’s interior scenes,including the expression of plane,the harmony of colors and the texture of personality.The third chapter mainly enumerates and discusses my personal work,by the harmonious color description,the plane processing and the thorough texture performance,displays the Vuillard ’s painting style in my work utilization and,it also reflects the love of life in his works on my artistic creation.
