"Sitting and Watching the Clouds Rise" is a single movement concerto written using the folk tune "Wuxijing" in Jiangnan as the musical material.The work fantastically depicts the beauty of Jiangnan in the past and the struggle between self and reality,as a means of self encouragement and encouragement.The inspiration for the work comes from the famous poet of the Tang Dynasty,Wang Wei,who wrote in "Farewell to the End of South China" : "When you travel to a place where the water is poor,sit and watch the clouds rise."In this article,the author will analyze the piano concerto version of "Sitting and Watching the Clouds Rise".Through the understanding of poetry and the analysis of music scores,the author will conduct a more in-depth analysis of the music’s creative background,music materials,music characteristics,and piano cooperation,and analyze the artistic conception contained in the music.Through my own understanding and performance of this work,I will further study the key and difficult points of music performance techniques,laying a solid theoretical foundation for better interpretation of this work.
