| As one of the basic skills of English learning,writing is not only a link for learners to transform input into written output,but also an important part of English teaching.However,at present,students’ interest in traditional English writing teaching model is relatively low,and teachers as the single interactive object,cannot fully meet students’ learning needs.While the multiple interactive teaching model,which is based on interactive teaching,emphasizes the interaction between learners and other teaching factors,thereby deepening the content of teaching and optimizing the interactive procedures in and out of class.Therefore,this study adopts the multiple interactive teaching model to conduct English writing teaching.Based on the original inter-subject interaction,subject-object interaction types are used to enrich the objects,forms,and levels of interaction in the teaching process,thereby further stimulating students’ interest in English writing and improving their English writing ability.Based on Constructivism learning theory,Symbolic interaction theory and Multiple intelligences theory as the theoretical guidance,this study investigates the application of the multiple interactive teaching model in college English writing in a dual environment of in-class and out-of-class,and uses the i Write English writing teaching and evaluation system as a platform for subject-object interaction.This paper aims to solve three problems: 1)Compared with the traditional English teaching model,what is the impact of the college English writing teaching based on the multiple interactive teaching model on students’ writing performance? 2)Compared with the traditional English teaching model,what is the impact of the college English writing teaching based on the multiple interactive teaching model on students’ ability to use writing strategies in terms of content,vocabulary use and organization? 3)What are the students’ attitudes toward the college English writing teaching based on the multiple interactive teaching model?In this study,all the 82 subjects come from two classes of non-English majors in Shenyang Normal University,and their English proficiency is basically equal.The experimental class is taught writing based on the multiple interactive teaching model,and uses i Write system for subject-object interaction;while the control class is taught based on the traditional English writing teaching model,the i Write system is only used for uploading writings.The research methods of this study are experiment,test,questionnaire and interview.At the end of the experiment,the researcher used SPSS21.0 to compare and analyze the collected questionnaire data and writing test data.The results show that:1)The college English writing teaching based on the multiple interactive teaching model is found to be more effective in improving students’ writing performance than the traditional English teaching model.2)Compared with the traditional English teaching model,the college English writing teaching based on the multiple interactive teaching model is more effective in improving students’ ability to use writing strategies in terms of vocabulary use and contents in their writing.However,in terms of organization,the improvement is not significant.3)The students in the experimental class hold a positive attitude towards the college English writing teaching based on the multiple interactive teaching model.It can be seen that the multiple interactive teaching model provides a perspective as well as practical support for college English writing teaching.It can help students to better understand the writing process,enhance students’ interest in English writing and improve their English writing skills. |
