Revolutionary Narratives In Changing Time

Chen Xuezhao is a famous female writer in the Chinese literary circle in the 20 th century.Her life experience and creation path are closely related to the progress of the Chinese revolution in the 20 th century.Therefore,"revolution" has become an important clue to open the ideological core of Chen Xuezhao’s literary creation text,to show the basic appearance of Chen Xuezhao’s literary creation and to perspective the spiritual characteristics of the writer.This paper mainly focuses on Chen Xuezhao’s literary creation from 1935,when he returned to China,to 1957,when he was branded as a "rightist".Combined with his Speech at the Yan ’an Forum on Literature and Art(hereinafter referred to as Speech),which had a significant impact on Chen’s entire life and creation,this paper divides Chen Xuezhao’s literary creation into three stages,and discusses in different stages of Chen Xuezhao’s life,The writer’s understanding and attitude towards revolution,as well as the writer’s response and thinking to this different understanding and attitude in his literary creation,in order to show the process of how revolution,as an important narrative theme,is cast in the writer’s creation.The text part is divided into three chapters: the first chapter is mainly to summarize and summarize Chen Xuezhao’s early literary creation.This paper mainly analyzes the specific context,background and reasons of his two trips to Yan ’an and Chongqing,discusses the causes of Chen Xuezhao’s writing style during this period,explores the Yan ’an Visit written by Chen Xuezhao during his visit to Yan ’an,and points out that this reportage reflecting the life and construction of Yan ’an from the perspective of life narration shows Chen Xuezhao’s sharp critical consciousness.It shows the characteristics of weak revolutionary consciousness and strong idealism in Chen Xuezhao’s text creation.The second chapter mainly shows the transformation of Chen Xuezhao’s writing style after listening to Speech,discusses the complex relationship between personal discourse and revolutionary discourse,and shows the process of the ideological transformation of a generation of female writers.The narrative strategy of this period reflects the author’s efforts to draw closer to the mainstream discourse from the side.Chapter three mainly analyzes the narrative changes in Chen Xuezhao’s literary creation after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.This is the beginning of the author to enter the grand narrative from the front and show the great changes of rural society.In the process of conforming to the mainstream narrative discourse,the author still shows his own unique taste,reflecting the unique understanding of the revolution.The conclusion summarizes the basic characteristics of Chen Xuezhao’s literary creation in different periods and the historical differences of his revolutionary expression.
