An Analysis Of Music Creation And Performance Techniques Of Yangqin Concerto Yanzi

Yanzi,a Yangqin concerto created by young composer Liu Chang in 2016,is one of the representative new dulcimer works in recent years.The theme motivation of the music comes from Sangzhi folk songs in Xiangxi area of Hunan Province.The composer uses western music creation techniques and "symphonic thinking" to create the music,which makes the music of conflict and contrast.The whole song is divided into six parts: introduction,adagio,moderato,allegro,climax and epilogue.The structure is clear,the idea is exquisite,and the mood is constantly advancing in the progress of the music.The author takes Yanzi as the research object,and studies and analyzes the music style,creation technique and performance characteristics of this work.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is an overview of the creation of the music,including the introduction of the composer and creation background;The second part is the analysis of the music noumenon of the music,mainly from the two aspects of the music structure and creation techniques.The third part is the study of the performance characteristics of the music,including playing techniques and playing experience of two aspects.This paper studies this work,expressing the author’s spirit of continuous exploration of Yangqin art,hoping to provide value for the creation and performance of Yangqin works in the future.
