Spatial Narrative And Cultural Fractal In Ethnographic Films

With the rapid development of contemporary society,the physical distance between different cultural groups is shrinking,and various cultural patterns blend and collide in mutual communication,thus giving rise to new cultural patterns and cultural phenomena.With the advancement of urbanization and the trend of population flow from villages and towns to cities and from the periphery to the center,more and more ethnic minority compatriots come to urban space for survival needs.However,cultural differences lead to certain difficulties in group communication and understanding,which makes it difficult for ethnic minority compatriots to gradually transition and alienation from different cultures and stick to their own cultures,which has become an important research object of this paper.Under the infiltration of urban civilization,the ethnic minority compatriots in urban space more or less produce a certain degree of alienation in psychology and identity.Compared with ethnic compatriots who stick to the family space,this alienation is the exploration and tracking of national psychology by different cultural styles in two spatial patterns,which is the research focus of this paper,in which the family space and urban space are the main ones.Ethnic minority compatriots living in their native land have a stronger sense of ethnic culture and ethnic identity in their family residence space.However,with the advance of urbanization and the launch of tourism,the original ecological family residence space is squeezed.Therefore,the third spatial form discussed in this paper is formed,that is,under the collision and integration of urban civilization and traditional culture.The new cultural pattern of seeking common ground while reserving differences.According to the discussion and research of the three spatial forms,it can be seen that they are pregnant with different cultural patterns,but they are not binary opposites in the text,nor are they one-way positive or negative,but there is an internal logic of "flow and transformation",which is trapped in the complicated debate and emotional vortex with the changes of specific times and social contexts.The degree work "A Day on Earth in the Mountains" is closely related to this paper.It takes space as the main means to promote the narrative of the film,takes individual choice in the new social environment as the topic,and shows the three life patterns of ethnic minorities in modern life: sticking to their ancestral homes,pursuing ideal and commercial value,and following the inclusive and enlightened new social civilization.Individual choices in specific families show the circulation and cultural fractal of ethnic identity under the integration of traditional culture and modern civilization,and the narrow sense of ethnic interpretation to the broad sense of ethnic integration,aiming to show the profound cultural deposits of all ethnic groups and the harmonious vision of ethnic integration under the background of the new era.
