With the advent of the age of intelligence,the rapid development of the Internet of things and digital image technology,“Cyborg” has been able to enter the daily life from the military,medical and literary creation fields,and the technical objects are increasingly personified,which makes the subject of communication in reality change from “natural person” to “Cyborg”.Nowadays,the discussion of man-machine relationship,virtual reality,Cyborg and other topics has gradually entered the public discourse space from the academic circle and become the focus of attention.This makes us think about the relationship between humans and machines today.In view of the wide dissemination of the concept and image of Cyborg,the popularity of Cyborg has been increasing.In order to improve the representativeness of this study,the research samples selected in this paper are mainly Hollywood science fiction films produced by eight film companies in California,to explore the development of the image of Cyborg in films,analyze the expression of the image of Cyborg in films,and explore the creator’s intention reflected by the image of Cyborg in Hollywood films.From the point of view of communication analysis of its significance to the construction of human society.The first part of this article first outlines the background and significance of this research topic,summarizes the current research status at home and abroad,proposes the problems studied in this article,and provides corresponding research methods and innovations;The second part mainly sorts out the emergence and paraphrasing of the concept of "cybrog",combined with communication practice and defining its imaging form in Hollywood science fiction movies.The purpose of this chapter is to sort out easily confused concepts and lay a solid foundation for further research in the following text;Thirdly,using the methods of text analysis and case analysis,this study takes the image of Seborg from 25 Hollywood films as the research object,briefly outlines its development in Hollywood films,and attempts to summarize the characteristics,classification,and relationship construction with humans of Seborg in Hollywood films;The fourth part is based on the systematic analysis in the third chapter,focusing once again on the research object and discovering the problems in the image of cyberborg,namely the deconstruction of subjectivity;The fifth part is a return to the perspective of film creators,discussing the cultural connotations reflected behind Cyberspace’s image from the perspectives of Cyberspace’s survival state and self-identity construction,using communication knowledge,in an attempt to explore the creators’ profound contemplation of human society hidden in science fiction films;Finally,summarize the entire article and summarize its viewpoints. |
