Family ethics films have important value in presenting social reality and family life in the era of developing visual images.This article takes the family ethics film as the research object and explain the narrative art of trauma in the family ethics film.In order to accomplish the research objectives,this article tries to combine the concept of medical trauma with narratology,starting from the trauma theory proposed by Freud.First,this article summarizes the types of trauma in family ethics films in the individual,gender,and social perspectives by combining specific film texts and explores the causes of its trauma.Then a new perspective on trauma narrative in a family ethics film is provided from analyzing pathways,which includes building a sense of psychological safety,reviewing and telling,and rebuilding intimacy,of trauma recovery under covert processes after trauma formation.Secondly,this article discusses the image presentation of traumatic narratives.It deeply analyzes the paths of four audio-visual means,nonlinear narrative,documentary photography,delayed flashback,and fluid perspective,to truly restore traumatic experiences in family ethics films.Finally,on the basis of theoretical exploration,this article returns to the creation of film and television art itself.It summarizes the trauma presentation ideas and explores more creative expressions of trauma narratives in family ethics films from five aspects,multiple trauma type construction,fluid perspective narrative,handheld long-shot shooting,delayed trauma presentation,and trauma recovery under the hidden process,which Combined with the trauma narrative practice of the short film "Driving to Strawberry Fields".Therefore,this article provides reference for the creation of trauma narratives in family ethics films. |
