On The Creation Practice Of The Electronic Synthesizer Concerto "Silk Road Ocean Rhythm

The electronic synthesizer concerto "Silk Road Charm",based on the origin port of the ancient Silk Road in Beihai,Guangxi,the author’s hometown,uses the tunes of the local folk music like salty-water songs,combines contemporary electronic music,post-rock music,tape music and other diversified musical style elements,highlighting the fusion and collision of Chinese and western musical languages.This paper discusses this work through four chapters.The first chapter discusses the orientation of style,source of material,feasibility of diversified style integration and musical form structure in the creation.The second chapter introduces the functions of electronic synthesizer,timbre shaping,performance control and sound design in the works.The third chapter introduces the material organization in the work,including rhythmic material,pitch organization and band color texture derived from synthesizer.The fourth chapter is the dialogue between electronic music and orchestral music,focusing on the relationship between orchestra,electronic synthesizer and acoustic materials,including the relationship between foreground and background,correspondence and fusion.
