The road film was born in the United States in the 1960 s,and is well known by the audience with its unique character relationship and narrative style.China’s road film was born after the reform and opening up,developed later than foreign countries,and has been in a relatively marginal position for a long time.In the early stage of the film creation,the characterization and spatial narration mostly imitated and drew on the traditional models of foreign countries: the story revolved around a series of stories after the hero went on the road.The protagonists who maintain mobility are generally men,while women live in family space,and so on.There are obvious typification and labeling problems in both characterization and space construction.As an important type of film that reflects the spirit of the times and carries the expectations of the people,the domestic road film,in which the female role is also a very important part,but there are few relevant documents and papers to study it.Facing the development dilemma of domestic road films,this paper will rely on the feminist theory to analyze the construction of female images in road films.In addition,in the creation and research of the film itself,the shaping of the film space is closely related to the construction of the female image.In addition,this paper also analyzes the construction process and cultural connotation of the female image in the domestic road film through the space production theory.This paper discusses the thinking of female image shaping in domestic road movies from the following parts.First,sort out the evolution history of female images in domestic road movies,analyze the background of such changes,and use this as the logical starting point of constructing female images later;Secondly,it comprehensively analyzes the development status and type characteristics of the female images in the current domestic road films by using the relevant theories of feminism,and finds that there are two classic types of female images: one is the marginal female image that is traditionally attached to men,and the other is the independent female image that breaks into the patriarchal system,which conforms to the development of the times.Thirdly,it studies the space strategy of shaping women in domestic road movies,and excavates the deep reasons under the characteristics of shaping women’s image from the three types of space of women’s body,struggle and cure;Fourth,based on the above observation and research,combined with the creation of my script "Eight Thousand Miles",I will explain the innovation of the female image in the script "Eight Thousand Miles" created by the author,and explore how the female role in the future domestic road movies should complete their own growth and identity,and provide enlightening creative strategies for the female image in the future domestic road movies. |
