Restrictions And Function Of Preposition Stranding Of Evidence Preposition In Modern Chinese

Preposition Stranding is a special kind of grammar phenomenon in Chinese,which is also a hot topic of grammar research at home and abroad in recent years.This paper uses the modern Chinese evidence preposition to investigate the prepositions that can be suspended.This paper firstly mainly introduces the use of "An" "Zhao""Jv"and "Genjv""Anzhao""Yizhao"in modern Chinese evidence prepositions,Overall,it is the preposition structure that overhangs the preposition due to the omission of the preposition object,and linearly co-appears with its adjacent verb components.Then the paper focuses on the constraints of preposition stranding,including the degree of preposition blur,the abstraction and generalization of prepositional object semantics,the choice of predicate central and the lexical tendency.Lastly to analyze the function of prepositions,including lexicalization,association and affection.lexicalization is one of the constraints of preposition stranding and the consequence of prepositions.Association and affection are also grammatical phenomena derived in the process of lexicalization.
