On The Musical And Performing Skills Of Guzheng Concerto ‘Lu You And Tang Wan’

Lu You and Tang Wan is a classic Zither concerto created by the famous composer He Zhanhao in 1999,which successfully integrates western elements with the inherent characteristics of Traditional Chinese music.It is a model of excellent works since the 21 st century.Based on the tragic love story between Lu You and Tang Wan in song Dynasty,the song adopts the rigorous structure of "double three-part style" and absorbs the materials of traditional Yue Opera tunes,forming unique musical performance skills and vivid stage effects,thus conveying people’s deep sympathy and good wishes for the heroes and heroines in the tragedy.Good writing is an understanding of a particular society,culture and history.Based on the understanding and analysis of the love story between Lu You and Tang Wan,this thesis starts from the structural characteristics of the Guzheng concerto "Lu You and Tang Wan",and combines my experience of playing this work and other guzheng concerto in school to analyze and study the musical characteristics and playing skills of the work.It aims to explore the depth and height of the work,better shape the character image in the performance of the work,further improve the performance level,and provide new reference and inspiration for many performers.Make everyone familiar with and love the music culture of the motherland,enhance national self-confidence,cultivate patriotism sentiment.
