This study combines memory theory and construction grammar theory to build a "Memory-Construction" teaching model.Based on the construction grammar theory,this model decomposes the sentence pattern into structural language block,semantic block and pragmatical language block to reduce the burden on students’ understanding.At the same time,it follows the memory law and cycle,and reasonably sets the reproduction node to reasonably reproduce the grammar structure to improve the efficiency of Chinese sentence learning and speech communication efficiency.The effectiveness of the "Memory-Construction" teaching model has been well confirmed in teaching practice.The teaching effect of serial verbs sentence for the primary Chinese classroom of PAHOA Primary School in Indonesia is as follows: After a round of teaching cycle,the accuracy rate of the use of serial verbs sentence in the experimental class reached 100%,the acquisition efficiency reached 172%,and the forgetting rate was reduced by 50%.The classroom participation rate reaches 100%;compared with the control class,the accuracy rate of the use of serial verbs sentence in the experimental class is 25% higher,the acquisition efficiency is 129% higher,the forgetting rate is 33.34% lower,the classroom participation rate is 37.5% higher,and the Chinese communication ability is stronger.The "Memory-Construction" teaching model also plays a relatively obvious role in the Chinese comprehensive classroom of primary school : after one year of tracking teaching,the Chinese average score of the experimental class has increased by 2.3points,the pass rate of the Chinese proficiency test is 100%,and the excellent rate has reached 93.75%.Comprehensively considering the results of this teaching practice,it is well proved that the "memory-construction" teaching mode can improve learners’ acquisition efficiency,reduce the forgetting rate,and improve the sense of learning effectiveness.It can highlight a certain effectiveness and applicability in other Chinese sentence patterns and different class types of teaching.This model has also won the high satisfaction and recognition of practical teachers and students,which is worth further testing and popularizing.In addition,this model can be extended to teaching at different language levels,such as phonetics,vocabulary,grammar,pragmatics,etc.It can also be applied to second language teaching such as English and Indonesian.
