| This report takes the red literary work The Passionate He Mustache as the source text of this translation practice, aiming to make full use of red resources to publicize the deeds and spirits of Comrade He Shuheng to the world.Under the guidance of cultural schema theory, this report divides schema pairs into four types: perfect correspondence, similar correspondence, cross correspondence and zero correspondence, and divides all cultural schemata into eleven types, such as custom schemata, historical schemata and poetry schemata, among which eight are selected for translation case analysis under four corresponding conditions. In the case of perfect correspondence and similar correspondence, the equivalent or similar schemata in the two cultures are found to achieve the goal of accurate translation. In the case of cross correspondence, intersecting but matching schemata from different languages are found to express the background information of the original schema, and whether the translation is faithful to the original depends on the degree of fit between the selected schema and the original schema. In the case of zero corresponding cultural schemata, transliteration and annotation are used to construct new schema,or interpretive translation and provincial translation are used to make the semantic integrity and smooth expression. The zero correspondence is the key and difficult point of this practice report, which has profound significance for the promotion of cross-cultural communication and the export of Chinese red culture. It is concluded from the translation practice that the cultural schema theory has certain guiding significance for the translation of this text, which makes the translation reproduce the effect of the original text to a certain extent, realizes the purpose of promoting red culture, and shows the great revolutionary spirit of China to the outside world.Under the guidance of this theory, translator tries to diversify translation methods in order to show the strong extraterritorial vitality of red classics. |
