Culture connects the past,present and future of a people.With the continuous development of the economy and the rapid development of science and technology,culture has increasingly become an important source of ethnic cohesion and creativity,and inheriting excellent traditional culture has increasingly become a social consensus.The traditional culture of the Yao ethnic group is the historical accumulation of the Yao ethnic group for thousands of years,which is not only the wisdom crystallization of the ancestors of the Yao ethnic group in harmonious coexistence with nature,but also the guide for the survival and development of the contemporary Yao people.Panwang culture is the symbol of Yao culture,so the Yao people hold the ancient sacrifice custom of returning the Panwang every year to remember the merits of Panwang and pray for the blessing of Panwang.In the process of migration,the Yao people integrated and developed with the local environment and culture,and Shuibin Village,Gongcheng county,in Guangxi formed a rich connotation and unique style of Huanpanwangyuan custom,which is a typical epitome of the history and culture of the Yao people.In the social life of the Yao people,the Yao people have a general consensus,that is,to recognize themselves as the descendants of King Pan.It can be said that the custom of returning the king’s wish not only represents the identity consciousness of the Yao people seeking ancestors and ancestors,but also the confirmation of ethnic identity,with a strong ethnic consciousness.With the rise of the movement for the protection of intangible cultural heritage and the rise of folk tourism,the custom of returning the Panwang wish in Shuibin Village,Gongcheng county,in Guangxi has been continued and developed in the Panwang Festival and the tourism of ethnic minority villages.Taking the customs of returning the king’s wish of the Yao ethnic group in Shuibin Village,Gongcheng county,Guangxi as a case,this paper systematically sorts out the ritual process of the customs of returning the king’s wish,explores its social function and value,explores the inheritance method of the customs of returning the king’s wish,analyzes the problems faced by the current inheritance,and puts forward appropriate inheritance countermeasures.The article consists of three main parts: introduction,main text,and epilogue.The introduction part mainly expounds the research origin,research purpose and research significance of this paper,and sorts out the research results of the Yao people’s custom of returning the king’s wish.The first chapter is a brief statement on the formation space and historical origin of the Yao people’s wish custom in Gongcheng Waterside Village,Guangxi,mainly discussing the myths and legends of the custom of Huanpanwangyuan in Shuibin Village,Gongcheng county,Guangxi and its development process.The second chapter examines the process of the Returning Wish Ceremony and analyzes its structural elements in the ceremony,arguing that the Returning Wish Ceremony is mainly composed of three parts: object,subject and carrier.Chapter 3 discusses the social function and contemporary value of the customs of the Yao people in Shuibin Village,Gongcheng county,Guangxi.Chapter 4 explores the ways in which the custom of returning the wish is passed on in the current environment,as well as the problems faced by the inheritance,and attempts to find a suitable inheritance path for the custom of the Huanpanwangyuan.
