This paper compares the development of music technology disciplines in China with that of foreign disciplines and points out the problems that exist in the development of music technology disciplines in China,while making suggestions and ideas for the future construction of the discipline.The study uses quantitative analysis methods such as historical combing and the use of the visualization software "Cite Space" to create a knowledge map of the discipline,and concludes that the discipline of music technology in China is characterized by interdisciplinarity,diversity of practice and application scenarios,and instability in its development.There are problems that need to be solved in terms of disciplinary system,disciplinary integration and disciplinary construction.At present,there are still controversies about the positioning of the discipline of music technology in China,and there is a need to further define the research objects and scope of the discipline and improve the disciplinary system;at the same time,the barriers between disciplines are thick,the specialization is relatively homogeneous,and the fragmentation between art and technology is serious.In addition,the lack of teachers,the lack of systematic teaching materials and classical literature,the single mode of personnel training and the serious homogenization of course content have to a certain extent restricted the development of the discipline.In the future,the discipline should be actively developed in three aspects: cultivating complex talents,building a comprehensive disciplinary echelon and creating a good environment for domestic and international exchanges.The training of talents should be based on scientific research projects as the core,and the training mode should be connected to industry,so as to promote the integration of industry,academia and research,and to cultivate complex talents with a sense of innovation for society.The construction of disciplinary echelons should,on the one hand,constantly improve the composition of the faculty,establish a flexible mechanism for the introduction and cooperation of talents,and consolidate the reserve power for the development of the discipline;on the other hand,reform of the teaching format should be carried out,and the teaching centre should be changed from teachers to students,encouraging students to choose different career planning and study directions according to the market demand for talents and their own hobbies and abilities.In the internal and external exchanges,in addition to grasping the current situation and trends of international music technology development,the introduction of foreign outstanding music technology talents,boldly learn from foreign successful experience,on the basis of practice to form a professional development concept and methodology of the discipline with Chinese characteristics.In addition,we should establish an all-round domestic exchange mechanism in multiple fields,strengthen the exchange and cooperation between professional art colleges and comprehensive polytechnics,expand the coverage of institutions,and enhance the breadth and depth of research in music technology and related fields;at the same time,we should strengthen the cooperation between schools and enterprises,attach importance to the position of enterprises in the development of the discipline,promote the industrialization of research results,solve the problems of students’ employment,and promote the development of the discipline.A virtuous cycle.
