An Analysis Of The Narrative Of "montage" In Dance Dram

This paper takes the montage theory as a research perspective to explore the basic rules and formal characteristics of narrative structure in dance drama,forming a feasible explanatory framework for the analysis of dance drama narratives.Based on the concept of montage theory and the basic characteristics of dance drama narratives,this paper selects "montage" types that are in line with the narrative characteristics of dance drama.Through the deduction and induction of the performances of 11 award-winning dance dramas from the 14th to 17th Wenhua Awards,this paper summarizes the ten main types of "montage" narratives in contemporary Chinese dance dramas,which reflects the rationality and applicability of the narrative types and rules in dance drama "montage." The in-depth analysis and specific classification include parallel montage,cross montage,inverted montage,lyric montage,psychological montage,metaphorical montage,contrast montage,vertical montage,acrobatic montage,and overtone montage under the three major classifications of narrative montage,expressive montage,and rational montage.Based on the concept of "same principle but different form" between film narration and dance narration,apply the idea of "montage" from film narration analysis to dance narration analysis.This paper gives a formal induction and interpretation of the "sense of form" and "filmic sense" phenomena that have emerged in recent years in dance drama.The research and summary of the narrative modes and rules of dance drama "montage" in this paper are based on the morphological analysis of 11 award-winning dance dramas and the conceptual refinement of relevant literature.Through the study of the phenomenon of dance drama "montage" narrative,this paper focuses on the processing mechanism and formal characteristics of dance drama narrative structure,and explores the technical aspects of dance drama narrative issues.This paper analyzes the "montage" narrative in dance drama through a classification and analysis mode.The overall explanatory system of the article is a theoretical framework based on the montage theory,and comprehensive use of dance morphology,narrative studies,and cross-media theories in specific writing to provide concrete evidence.Through interdisciplinary theory and analysis of important phenomena and works in contemporary Chinese dance drama development,this paper expands the research and interpretation space of dance narrative theory.It is hoped that the formal rules of dance drama "montage" narrative can be studied and that the narrative advantages and effectiveness of dance drama "montage" can be clarified,providing certain references for the creation of dance drama in terms of technical creation and narrative strategies.
