| The undergraduate stage is the first time in adulthood that adolescents truly leave the strict constraints of parents and teachers and have sufficient time at their disposal independently. After entering college under the pressure of intense study in the compulsory education stage, many new students will appear to be lax and unable to plan their study rationally, resulting in less efficient learning and less thinking. Moreover, with the rapid development of science and technology,it is necessary to adhere to lifelong learning in order to keep up with the pace of the times. Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate students’ ability to develop autonomous learning and achieve their sustainable development in this period. At home and abroad, the research on autonomous learning has been deepened and a complete theoretical system has been formed, but the literature on autonomous learning in piano is relatively small. This project uses literature, questionnaire, nonparticipant observation and interview methods, combined with related research,to explain the meaning of autonomous learning ability of piano. At the same time, the meaning, influencing factors, components, cultivation methods and assessment methods of developing students’ autonomous learning ability in piano are discussed, followed by the procedure and strategies of developing students’ autonomous learning ability in piano with undergraduate students of music education in China Conservatory of Music as the research object, and a three-month practice. Finally, the findings of the study are applied to the students’ one-month autonomous piano learning, taking Chopin’s Exercises Op.10 No.12 as an example,in order to show the concrete application process of the research findings more visually. The results of the study show that the procedures and strategies proposed in this paper can effectively improve students’ piano learning effects.First, the students were able to learn the piano systematically and effectively, and to accumulate their own experiences and methods of autonomous piano learning.Secondly, students are able to systematically adapt their autonomous piano learning to personal and situational changes, and even in the absence of autonomous piano learning procedures and strategies, students know when to apply specific strategies and change the characteristics of the strategies independently and proficiently. Finally,Not only do students become more efficient and motivated to learn piano, their sense of self-efficacy is also improved.Attitudes toward piano learning were more positive, thinking about and applying learning strategies increased, and they were able to master and apply various learning strategies proficiently. |
